Visited this place on Easter Monday and was very happy with it. Food for 4 adults and 3 children cost 51 and was of a good standard. The young girl who took our food order (Lydia?) was exceptionally helpful and was still smiling after taking many peoples food orders. The barman was also very friendly. We sat outside, but what I noticed of the inside looked very pleasent and the tables were well-presented. If you have children, there is a large but safe outdoor play area with new equipment including swings and a fairly large play-frame, and there's plenty of table-benches to sit at. Only giving this an 8 because it takes something very special to get a 9 or 10 from me!

We found this delightful place whilst holidaying in Devon and made a point of having a few meals there during our stay. To be brief, you will find very good food at fair prices, a good choice of ale (but nothing too 'specialist') and probably the most friendliset staff I've ever come across bearing in mind that they do get very busy. The building looks like some kind of old castle and has lovely character. There is ample parking and the view across the river is wonderful. An excellent family pub that you should really check our if you're ever in the area.

The Famous 3 Kings (F3K), West Kensington
If you like sport, like a good atmosphere, dont mind waiting for a pint (buy a pitcher anyway) then this is perfect. Can get very busy and a bit touristy, but that just seems to add to the overall positive vibe.

The Seven Stars, West Kensington
Yeah, I live local too and whilst the term 'chav' goes hand-in-hand with most pubs near an estate, I only ever go in here as a last resort. However, if you dont mind a few stares and hearing a bit of 'french' then you could do worse.

A brilliant pub! We often drive from London just to come here. Food is of a good standard and honestly priced and we always end up chatting to other visitors who always agree with our high opinion of this place. Parking is ample and this pub is on the heath and so there are plenty of places to walk before or after a lovely slap-up meal and pint.

Generally a decent pub with good ale and decent food. Only gripe was that the playframe is slightly 'old-school' and isnt really suitable for toddlers. The barman James made us feel very welcome and the kitchen/serving staff were very nice.

The Last Bid, Bond Street
Been to this place a few times after work and have had no problem with the bar staff. Given that I had to wait a while because a large group of locals took ages just to order a round of drinks, I can see why the bar staff lose it with some people - I felt like telling the people to bugger off and sort their order out before going to the bar. Finding a pub in the West End where you actually get a table on a Friday night is a god-send. Good prices, the food is standard fare and the DJ's on a Friday play an excellent selection of music.
