best pub in the area - good ales (including regular guest beers), decent service, unobtrusive music.

The Salisbury, Harringay

the most abysmal service I have ever experienced. Got there at 10pm and there were at least 20 people all waiting to be served. Three of four bar staff running around like headless chickens not knowing what to do and steadfastly refusing to acknowledge the customers. After 15 minutes finally gave up and decided to go to a pub where the management actually seem to give a shit about serving people.
