If you missed the beer festival then shame on you..what a fantastic choice of beer good at reasonable prices, music every day and the sun was out, what more can you ask for. Pencil in end of may bank holiday for next year..

The Maidenhead Inn, Basingstoke
For a wetherspoon pub the beer in here is very good. 5 hand pumps which have two regular and the other three guest ales always changing. Beer always seems to be in great condition and staff are happy to change if you are not happy with the quality. and all for 1.99 a pint

Beer still excellent, need more drinkers so we can get more beer on,,get down there on those cold winter evenings and have a great beer with good company and a real fire which will be lit most nights as the landlord feels the cold.

Went to the thomas lord on saturday,,beer was good but main reason we went was for the food and it was worth it, all locally sourced and very good value, if you like food and beer in a warm freindly pub then get yourself to the thomas lord.

Im sure most landlords get fed up with people who take there time getting there change out. Who cares about that when the food is excellent and the beer top quality whether you like winter or summer ales there is normaly a good range , assuming it has not all been drunk.

Great choice of beer and wonderful food,,staff seemed friendly espicially the female in the kitchen who came and chatted about the dinner. Well worth a visit if you are out that way.
