The Kings Head, Holmbury St Mary
Like the new people here but they have to sort a few things. Need some better beers and also wine. have got confidence they will sort it, but only time will tell. Meanwhile will visit occassionally and see how things are going. Hope it does well and improves.

visited here for a really great Thai eveing. Food was A OK, beer superb and atmosphere really good. recommend.

tried this place again after a few months drinking elsewhere. Still just as bad. Have to say that if the current managers/tenants/owners can't get the act together it must be time to quit. Beer was awful - cloudy - sour, and it seemed like nobody here in charge gave a diddly squat. Food has gone decdedly "south" and is expenive for what is on offer. My best advice - AVOID - at least until there is some change of either management or attitude.

Visited here after a disappointing start at another pub in the area. Beer was excellent. Well kept and in nice condition. Found the staff very welcoming. Have not eaten here but they have a new chef and the menu certainly looks interesting and appropriately priced. Must give the food a try.

Gave the place a try the other evening and it was just as bad as described in my last post on this pub. Beer was so bad only drank half of it and left. The place is awful. Poor beer, given the standard the food is overpriced and the welcome is non existant. Will try it again in a few months and see if there is any change.

Have used this place on and off for a number of years. Visited a few evenings ago and it was dire. Beer was not well kept and badly presented. Probably leave it a few weeks and see if it has improved.

The Bulls Head, Ewhurst
Had a beer here today. Beer was not that good and atmosphere quite "cold".
Do hope it gets better since it is a pub with a nice summer garden and good location. Looking at some previous posts it seems that I am not alone in my view. Also I can say that I am not a "regulart" or a "former" regular. I just post as I find.
