recently this place had a complete change in its staff, a much younger crowd than it used to be but not too young (about 21-25) nice bouncers and staff, never had any problems in there, the drinks selection is slowly increasing aswell, but it does seem to be getting busier everytime i visit

a really nice place, nice building good staff, a rare 1am closure at weekends, the problem is the drinks prices, the drinks are great but very expensive, i prefer going elsewhere for more affordable drinks

i went back to uxbridge over christmas and was shocked to find the minor refurb this place had received, essentially still the pub i always enjoyed but now they serve a cocktail and shot menu all for a reasonable price, and the price of the old drinks has gone down, their staff are great and still remember their regulars despite a 6 month absence, still a great night out with their late license running till 1am

a pub that has had problems but is trying, the place used to be very bad but a change in management has lead to some changes, one very noticeable change is the cost of the drinks, its now ridiculously cheap, �1.85 for a stella or guiness last time i went, and named drivers drink soft drinks for free, the doormen are prety strict though, thursday-saturday theres a shoes only policy, this stops a lot of folks going down there, the prblem is though as much as they are trying a visit from the local police is still far to often for many peoples liking
