The Bar at tcr, Tottenham Court Road
Was there on Friday - total chaos, staff running around like headless chickens. No sign of a manager anywhere. We won't be going back until things improve!

I have been back and was surprised by an 'old and seasoned' capaigner like Cardamom's comments - Each to thier own!
They're running a Beer of the World festival for the summer and I tried the Sierra Nevada Pale Ale along with the Sleeman Honey Brown - Both excellent

Excellent choice of beers, nice food... but a bit on the expensive side.
Very nice interior - almost too smart to be categorised as a pub. Offers a big windowed light bit by the bar and warm lounge area for drinking in less clement weather...
Remarkably well heated bathrooms.
Only down sides are the slightly musty smell (probably from all the olives on offer), and the influx of people in the evening who've reserved half the tables.

Maybe I had a better experience than most, or maybe because I was there in the afternoon, but I found this pub to be a pleasant place, if not particularly memorable. No, not worth a journey, but would drop by if I were in the area for a pint. The barstaff's English could be improved.
