Great pub in a sleepy part of west london. Almost like a village atmosphere in Olde Hanwell. Great choice of Ales and very cosy in winter. Well done, and please don't ever change!

It's like drinking in someone's front room, it's just all wrong. Staff are friendly though. Look, it even has a website!

If you're paying this much for food I'd expect a more extensive menu in the restaurant. That said the food is very good, a nice place to come for a special meal out. Nice pub in general, not a great choice of beers. Plenty of space outside for the summer months

The Spinning Wheel, Northfields
Had some good nights here in the past, feel like i've outgrown it now. There used to be woman who looked like Ann Widdecombe who would always be the first dancing when a band came on, ah the memories. Midweek you can normally get a seat and is good for a quite drink. Opposite can be said fo Fri-Sat. That said my last visit was probably about 6 months ago

If you've sunk do the depths where you have to go to this place then I advise you give up and commit suicide, there's nothing left for you in this world. Terrible on so many levels:
The bouncers are tw@s
The barstaff are rude and inefficient
The drinks are way overpriced
The clientelle is a mixture of tarts/chavs and businessmen (actually that sounds quite interesting - nope it doesn't work)
Even a yates' wine lodge is better than this

Definately the best pub in Ealing, but unfortunately anyone with any taste knows that so it gets busy. Music always laid back and funky, volume can vary.
I agree on a couple of previous points:
YES - They do need more barstaff, though at least the ones they have are ok (i.e no chips on shoulders etc)
YES - They do run out of booze. Think Schneider Weiss has only been on once during several recent visits. Amstel is my backup and they've run out of that once too

If you want to drink with Meatheads and the plankton of society come to the townhouse. Thoroughly wretched, what more can I say???

Nice place to go for a quiet drink, relaxed atmosphere and good service. Enough off the beaten track to loose the fulham broadway crowd. Recommended!
