The Bishop, East Dulwich

Had a really nice evening the first time. Loved the look and style of the place not to mention the dog. Second time less keen as a fist fight broke out and it took ages for the bar staff to sort it out.

The Crown and Greyhound, Dulwich

nice pub but food is a let down. over priced and why serve wedges with everything? what is wrong with some chips? also not happy about only serving pistacheos and kettle crisps. what happen to the rest of the snack list? guess they have a deal with someone restricting them to this. maybe that is why only wedges are served. i wish there were another pub in dulwich village to give a bit of competition to this one.

The Crystal Palace Tavern, East Dulwich

very nice wine and snacks. also good area to sit out front. back of pub is horrible. really needs doing up. felt like i was sitting on some really horrible stuff. staff are very friendly and good local for the summer until the back is done up.

The Uplands Bar and Brasserie, East Dulwich

Used to like it a lot but for the last few months has gone downhill. The staff seem very uncaring. Food was sitting at the counter for 10 minutes with the staff walking pass it without taking any notice. There is also a rather loud and drunken local lot who dominate a lot of the bar. Restaurant area looks like a Little Chef with horrible chairs. Outside area is nice but bins are right there and often overflow with rubbish. Suggest they build a fence around it. Decent wine and beer but snacks are limited. Has still potential but must have urgent rethink.
