The Victoria Arms, Brentwood

Nice cosy pub with good ales, reasonable lunches and friendly staff... good for watching football as have a few tv screens.. could do with some new furniture but apart from that a good place to have a pint.

Gone abit downhill now and no longer have SkySports and ESPN in this pub anymore :(

The Ferry Boat Inn, Felixstowe

Visited there one Sunday lunchtime and was told when entered the pub that children are not allowed in the bar area and only allowed in the family dining area.. problem if there is not a table ready you cant hang around in the bar area either with a baby/children even though there is nowhere else to stand inside, so got told by the impolite bar watiress that will have to go outside or in the beer garden. Not very considering since it was freezing outside. Think they should review their policy... wont be visiting there again.
