The Jerusalem Tavern, Clerkenwell
What a pub! Try and leave work early to get a seat ( on furniture that looks like it was carved by a previous landlord from any old wood he could get his hands on) as it fills up pretty quick. People stand out front in the summer months. Stupendous range of ales, both bottled and on tap, although some of the fruity numbers are just a little too weird for me.

The Rat and Ratchet, Huddersfield
I sometimes think about going all the way to huddersfield just to go back to this pub. Keep up the good work.

Just the sort of pub i thought i'd never see again when i moved to london. 3 ales always well kept and a great jukebox. Go there now!

The North Star, Leytonstone
The only pub I enjoy drinking in in leytonstone, a great place for either a quiet night, one too many while chatting to the friendly locals and a great place to watch sport. So what if the decor is a bit tired!The beers are excellent and well kept and that's what matters.
