Robert Pocock, Gravesend

The beer in here is very variable ,though cheap ,it appears to draw the value for money, Sat morning crowd ,and has lost a lot of trade to the Pembroke, round the corner.
A shame to see this pub go progressively down hill.Slow service due to being perpetually understaffed ,and young girls behind the jump who know nothing about real ale.

Caters for a youngish clientele, but offers Bombadier ,which was kept presentably on my two visits.

The Good Intent, Rochester

Real Ale and Music fans should not let the drab unlovely exterior of this pub put them off from visiting it ,.The decor is nothing to shout about ,but the beer is excellent , and the customers are friendly.A good selection of gravity fed ales ,allways available ,and often very good music .
