Best quality real ale for sale in Hastings. Dark Star is a fabulous brewery and they often have one or two different types of their beer on pump. Note that this is more of an afternoon then evening pub.

The Fountain, Aberystwyth

This used to be my favourite haunt as a student. Good food, relaxed atmosphere, nice beer and friendly staff. If only there were more pubs like this one.

The Yelton Hotel, Hastings

Excellent since it changed hands. Lovely real ale from sussex - not overpriced. Very children and dog friendly a really nice place to meet up and relax.

The Inkerman Arms, Rye Harbour

Nice pub - excellent food (especially if you like fish). The beer is also kept very well - tend to have good local guests as well as Harveys. The only problem is that it is in Rye Harbour.
