Great for the Sunday roast and the occasional pint. One of the better pubs in the area. (Not saying much to be honest)
Why did they paint it Orange?

Fantastic pub.
Definatley a cool hang out and try the pizzas, they are amazing.
It's nice to see the staff care about the cocktails and it has exhibitions of artwork on the walls that change from time to time.
Agree with previous comments, between this and the Railway Streatham Common has some cool pubs.

One of the best pubs in the area. The food is brilliant and the staff are bonkers.
It is pricey though, and the 'beer garden' is some tables outside in the road.
Watch out for the table service charge though, get your own drinks from the bar!

Despite the look of it this place is surprisingly good. The food, while not great, is decent enough and comes quickly.
The staff are great, very freindly and with three large screens it's perfect for the football.

The Carpenters Arms, Tottenham Court Road
Avoid the food, it is dire.
This is the same as all the other pubs in Fitrozia, very average. Yet it's always full after work.
Stretch your legs, head down to Soho instead.

South London Pacific, Kennington
This place rocks! Live music, good cheap cocktails and the atmosphere is fantastic.
Definately worth a look in if you want a break from the british summer.
Look forward to spending many long evenings here.

The Greenwich Union, Greenwich
This place is very cool, the beers are different and there's a great space in the beer garden.
Can't understand the previous comments about the beer making people ill. Never had a similar problem despite trying all the beers.
The staff should get a mention as well, freindly polite and apparently aware of all the relevant licensing laws.
Highly recommended.

The Railway, Streatham
Contrary to my previous review, I can confirm this place has a great beer garden, I shall no doubt be spending many summer evenings in it. Thanks Alex.
This is now definately the best pub in the area.
One bit feedback though, without carpets or soft furnishings to absorb and dampen the sound, it can get very noisy. Especially when the music is on. Can you keep the music down to conversation level in the week, most people just want a quiet beer a chat rather than a full on rave!
