good pub very cheap and nice food 2/courses for 4.95 in the afternoon large plazma screen for sports etc lovely dining room

The George Hotel, Castleton

the best pub in castleton without a doubt.
good home-cooked food and fantastically well-kept beer.
if the locals frequent this pub more than any other, it has to be a good sign.
they also allow dogs in the bar side.
however, some comments have been made prior regarding a tall builder: you can leave this over-sized chap and his lighter thievery behind, the real looker of the establishment is the tall, dark and handsome barman chris
