The Duke of Cumberland, Henley

You don't have to eat to enjoy the pub-the garden is large enough to cater for people who simply want to have a drink. And the staff are very amenable in all cases. On a late Saturday afternoon in summer it really is a gorgeous location.

The Duke of Cumberland, Henley

Lovely old pub, situated in glorious countryside, with a truly wonderful garden. I can't think of many nicer places to sit on an early summer evening. I can't comment on the food (I haven't tried it) but the beer is excellent.
I have some sympathy with the previous poster. I don't consider myself to be a chav, oik or class warrior. However, the cut glass accents can get a little trying. In fairness, the management are welcoming to everyone, and the garden is large enough to find a little peace and quiet.

The Kings Arms, Fernhurst

Very nice pub located in lovely countryside, although it is by the side of a busy, main road, which makes the garden a little noisy. Only two hand pumps on, but this means there is a good throughput of beer. The Langhams was superb-better than at the Duke of Cumberland down the road (and they keep it well).

The Steak and Ale Pie was very nice. It was perhaps a little on the small side, but very tasty. Well worth a visit.

The Whip Inn, Lacey Green

Went on a sunny summer weekend. I started by ordering the Beef and Ale Pie. This was an inspired choice, as it was the only item on the menu that had run out. I had a "Whip Burger" instead. This was a large, tasty burger in a fresh bap, wih fat free crisp brown chips and a salad. Excellent! The Rebellion Beer was top notch as well. Nice garden for sitting out in summer.
