Dreadful place. Looks lovely and has potential. Sullen staff. Overpriced for drinks and crisps etc. �1.50 for small pkt. crisps? Mid afternoon and empty. Glasses not collected and ashtrays not emptied. Ladies loo pretty dire as nappy changing table takes up whole area.
Service with a smile...................forget it.

Brilliant pub, excellent service, food and booze. Lovely location and staff. But they are trying to be very upmarket which means definitely addressing the absolutely appalling lavatory situation! They are disgusting (not cleanliness). Cisterns hanging off the wall, dreadful toilet seats and taps that don't work

Please, please get rid of the Spanish barmaid. She has no redeeming qualities whatsover. She swears like a trooper, is unfriendly, never smiles and is generally unhelpful. I have heard her being very rude to people as well.

The Angel and Crown, Richmond
this pub used to be great, lots of friendly locals, lovely manageress but now it's dreadful. Nearly always empty except a few people who have been barred from all the other pubs in Richmond. Maybe silkcut1 could sense the difference from 50 meters away because of the smell of the toilets! And isn't the new manager, Steve, the dodgy butcher? I have been drinking here for years but no more which is a shame because the food is still excellent.
