The Gate, Chorleywood

this is a great place,dont go if you want a trad.boozer it aint that,go if you wanna go somewhere thats a little more upmarket that isnt a rip off,the food is decent,the outdoor space is nice,i dont feel 8 quid for a pizza from a wood burning stove too bad for this area,recommended.

White Horse, Chorleywood

this is a good all round pub,decent grub,nice court yard garden,Karen the land lady is very professional and friendly.Its just a pity thst recently i paid 3.25 for a pint of strowbow,thats outrageous even for posh chorleywood,dont know if that the brewery or what.

Swan, Amersham

when you walk into this pub/eating place,as they like to call it,you think this looks good.But as others have said thats where it ends,it under performs on so many levels.The service is all over the place,with vague staff who just dont seem remotely committed,food is always missing from the menu and its very ,very average with top prices.sorry.

Kingsfield Arms, Harrow

This pub is without doubbt one of the better pubs in Harrow.Its tucked away although still reasonably central,it has a decent crowd going in there,the landlord is friendly which is rare these days.
