I remember this pub when it was the Old Orleans, and it was indeeed, a pub. Good beer, mixed drinks and fun staff. Now...not so sure. A bit pretentious.

The Roebuck, Richmond Hill

Used to spend hours and loads of money here...really miss it now that I am back in the States in the land of commercialized bars.

The Marlborough, Richmond

I think I can add some light to these comments...I used to work at the Marlborough, from about 2000-02, when it was indeed managed by two lovely Irishmen, Oisin, Andrew, and then later, assistant manager, John. And experienced the "re-furb" as it was called, by Six Continents, the owners. I loved the staff, the pub, the regulars, and the atmosphere we created. I don't know what it is like now, but I am anxious to see in a month when I come to visit from the States. I just hope all the regulars haven't gone elsewhere because I really want to chat with them.
