Appparently Greene King have put this pPub up for sale, don't know if it will remain as a Pub or be convertedtoa housr!

No longer serving food. Very basic back street type boozer. Not the cleanest pub in town, but they tell me the beer is ok. Don't know, wouldn't be seen dead in here!

Pub has been closed over 12 months! Empty, nothing much happening, owners having trouble selling it!

Lots of rare beers appearing regularly. Justifiably won the local CAMRA pub of the year 2009. Such a shame the local branch do not support this excellent Pub.
Excellent beer quality, never had a bad pint!

Pub just re-opened as a "sports Bar". Lots of telly's, lot's of music, NO real Ale.

The Spread Eagle, Chorlton cum Hardy
Stayed here recently for a few nights. Tea/coffee facilities and tv in room, HOWEVER,
mattres on beds were comletely worn out and useless, curtains had not been washed for years, were filthy and all torn. Thick black mould in the shower, no excuse for this as it would wash of if somebody had bothered.
Whole place very tired and in need of TLC. No food available at all so had to go out for breakfast.
One one evening in the bar there was an elderly lady drinking pints of lager and shouting at everybody that came in the door.
Would I stay here again, NO!
