Been to the lamb this weekend and yet again had an absolutely fantastic meal. They were very busy and although we had not booked the landlady went out of her way to fit us in. The traditional Roast Beef was fantastic, better than I've had anywhere before, and so much of it!!!! My friends had their Badger Ale Haddock & chips, Homemade lasagne and Haddock & prawn Mornay and despite the huge portions, not a scrap was left. All brilliant.
It is aslo good that the lamb inn offers a varied Childrens menu, not all chips, chips, chips!
We love the Lamb Inn, we always feel welcome and look forward to our next visit.

Yet another great meal! Had not been in for a while but yet again the food was fantastic and the staff so obliging. Took some friends that had not been there before and they agree with us that the Food at the Lamb inn cannot be beaten! While my friends opted for Steaks (which were cooked to perfection!) I tried the butterfish which was out of this world. My husband tried another sausage & mash combination which was delicious. We always know that we will have a good meal out whenever we visit the Lamb.

Had a great meal last Tuesday (New Years Day). Was really busy, though did not have to wait long for our lunch and as per usual was of a fantastic standard. Had changed their menu since the last time we had visited and have introduced a pick & mix Sausage & Mash menu which is brilliant. I had a Drunken Duck, a Lamb & Mint and a Pork, Apple & Cider sausgae with Mustard mash & Ale gravy. I will be going back again to try all the other choices. I was also impressed by the staff, despite being rushed off their feet they were so obliging and polite. An excellant pub with a fantastic choice of food. Cannot praise it enough.

The Lamb Inn, West Wittering
What a dissapointment!!!! Visited the Lamb yesturday (Sunday 3rd May) and was so embarrassed to have inflicted it on friends we had taken with us under our assurances that we always had a good meal there.
The bar area has lost its welcoming look and the welcome from behind the bar was even worse! Despite our inital findings we stayed for lunch and was yet again dissapointed. The worst by far was my sister in laws fish & chips (something we have always enjoyed in the past), I should think it was frozen and pre-battered as it tasted far from fresh. Am just so gutted that we have lost our favourite place to eat.
Have just read the review above and am surpised it is the same place, sounds very much like an advert!
Can anyone tell me where the previous owners have gone to? Will not be re visiting the Lamb again. Very sad.
