Had a couple of pints there yesterday lunchtime. I thought it was very good. Friendly service and a good pint of Pedigree. Very clean, too, which always scores good marks in my book.

The Mariners Court, Leigh on Sea

It's OK, I guess. The food is way overpriced for what turns up, but the pub is clean and the staff are friendly. The layout always makes it seem crowded and not in a nice way.

Horse and Groom, Rochford

Not bad at all and a lot better than it was pre-name reversion. Friendly landlord, good beer and an honest menu make for a popular pub. Good range of bitters too, if that's your bag. Recommended.
