Ye Old Crown, Rayleigh

One of the other good pubs in Rayliegh Town. Has a pool table. Gets lively over the weekend. Situated on top of Crown Hill. The taxi rank is suituated opposite and the train station (Rayleigh) is at the bottom of Crown Hill.

Used to be a good pub many years ago, done very nice steaks/mixed grills.

Seems to be a magnet for Chav's now ...

The Roebuck, Rayleigh

Has a wide range of beers (if you can get served that is). As per the previous comment, on a Friday/Saturday night it can take forever to get a drink.

This pub is better during the week or Sunday afternoon.

A pub with a good atmosphere due to the high number of 'regulars'.

Food served until 3pm, never tasted a better egg & bacon sandwich anywhere else!

Beer on sale is Carlsberg & Carlsberg 'Extra Cold', Stella, Guiness 'Extra Cold', IPA, Abbotts + others
