Called in moss tavern, spoke to landlord Ben, seems a friendly chap. There was a marstons pedigree pump on bar, but alas no beer, landlord said he had to throw most of it away as there was no demand. He said if there was a demand for it he woul'd be prepared to try it again as he likes real ale himself. Sunday carvery & african/carribean buffet under 12's eat free. Every last fri of month motown & reggae evening.

For some reason or other, the stawbs has stopped selling real ales. Asked why and the reply was not enough people drinking it and it was ging to waste.

called in this pub on a day out from gt yarmouth. Wide range of real ales, good food, friendly bar staff and a great history of murders. Mancunian.

The bush has once again had brass band of the year on (well organised) a folk music day, ok if you like folk, but cant please everybody.Beers well kept and pleasant people, no k---heads, just the blue rinse brigade who growl if you sit in their(ive sat there for years seat). Not bad for a s---hole.

Alas the landlord of the strawberry has decided to quit due to problems with the brewery(what a suprise). Why dont these people try and help the landlords to try and get the pubs full again. Watch this space.

The strawberry gardens currently has a new landlady, who is selling real ale, bombadier/spitfire to name two. These and other beers are reasonably priced and the two guest ales sell very quickley. Old regulars slowly coming back.
