The Bo-Peep, Chelsfield

Went here for a meal last night. Place busy but a couple of tables free. Staff very helpful, food nice, beer good, nice fire. Really very good. Oh, and prices now reasonable - several mains under �10, and an excellent very large bit of nicely cooked venison was �14, which seems fair enough.

The Bell, Odell

Nice pub, nice beer, shockingly bad food. Soggy chips, flavourless fish, sliced bread that had gone hard through being left out, and the salad was warm where they had obviously reheated the whole meal in the microwave. Go and sit in their nice garden by all means, but food? Forget it.

The Inn On The Pond, Nutfield

Nice pub with seats outside overlooking the cricket green. Food and beer both good, staff helpful and pleasant. Never been before, but the current 4.7 rating seems unfairly low.
