The Armoury, Shrewsbury

Very friendly staff, plenty of well kept real ales, wines, malt whiskies, etc. Not cheap but you can see why, very nice spacious layout, huge portions of good food and just a great place to relax. If only the council would pedestrianise the road outside it'd be perfect!

Awful! The bar staff were swearing at each other whilst serving us, not a good start. The beer was very cheap but on tasting it you can see why, we had the Tim Taylor Landlord and it tasted like they'd added salt, we managed half a pint each then couldn't take any more and went somewhere else.

The Yorkshire House, Shrewsbury

Excellent pub, very friendly and free from chavs! My first visit last night and I'll definitely be going there again. As below, you need to like the music and decor, but this only helps to keep the wrong kind of people away in my opinion!
