The Cat's Back, Wandsworth

Good pub, but past its prime. Interesting clientele - watch out for the 'artist in residence' - and d�cor. Just don't go there too often as it can get a bit samey. However, the beer has been managed much better recently (a strong range these days) and there has been some good live music on weekends. Worth a visit, though, for its classic feel.

Agree with Real_Ale_beth. Been drinking in there for five years and watched the pub steadily decline. Can't believe the defurb is taking so long; what the hell is an environmental conservatory?! Beer, however, is always quality.

The Highbury Vaults, Bristol

Good pub if you like weirdos and "don't focus on the whole of society, rather sections of it". Quoted from a patron of the hostelry during my visit and just about sums up the place. Shan't be returning.
