The Plough And Harrow, Warfield
Much improved. New owners seem to have created a new calm atmosphere. The ale is really good. Would be pleasant for a family outing.

The Three Legged Cross, Warfield
It has much changed since it was a tiny smoky pub. The regulars (non-bikers) appear to be coming back, and the Monday evening opening without food seems to be gaining popularity. At least it has survived as a pub, and not been demolished like so many other 500 year old watering holes.
The St Edmunds IS real ale, and is brewed to be served cooler than normal. The Greene King IPA is OK, but I gather that it will be replaced by a Summer Ale soon.
They do up market Bar Snacks that compliment most drinks. These dont make the beer go flat like eating crisps does.
The Aspall cider makes a welcome change from fizzy Stongbow, as does the Peroni larger from the ubiquitous Wife Beater.
