The Minster Inn, York

This a lovely pub. A bit way of the road by St. Mary's Abbey. The beers were amazingly good. A great selection of 6 real ales. The locals are friendly and btw it is dog friendly.

The Blue Bell, York

I visited the pub on the 7th February. The beers were well kept (although the selection not very exciting: Adnam's Broadside, Deuchar's, Abbot's and something else I don'y remember). The rear room is a relaxed great place for a chat.

The Golden Ball, York

Nice pub. Although the beer selection is not the best, the pub is classic and friendly. Aparently opens from 4 pm.

The Ackhorne, York

I visited the pub on the 8th February. The beer was very good. There were around 6 real ales mainly from micros. I didn't had food, but apparently it is good. Great pub.
