The Floating Bridge Inn, Dartmouth
No poorly cooked food here now! Called in last week with the family, we all had something different to eat and all had a generous helping and very well cooked meal. Some nice looking hand pulled beers being served too, prices were'nt too bad either considering that if you got any closer to the river you would be swimming in it! Enjoyed watching the 'higher ferry' crossing the river while having a drink. Staff were friendly and efficient, interior looked very tidy and the kitchen looked immaculate - that's why I'm giving it a 9/10.

Called in every night bar one while on holiday last year (and the year before). Staff were pretty friendly and were very friendly as the week went on. Both beer and food were vey good and reasonable priced. Only missed one night to try some of the excellent fish and chips served accross the road!

Very handy if you are staying on the Haven or Toms sites. Had one meal there which wasn't too bad at all and the staff were pretty helpful too. Fantastic view of St Ives bay from the large outside seating area but the drink prices were a bit pricey in my opinion.

Called in last week a couple of times. The staff were very friendly and the food was great, there were a selection of hand pulled beers but to tell you the truth I was only there for the food really! Only 2 minutes out of Hayle and well worth the trip because the prices for both food and drink were great.

The Cherub Inn, Dartmouth
Might sell good beer but not too child friendly. Was going to try it out on a rainy Wednesday night last week with the kids but got that unwelcome feeling from the landlord - he was quite pleasant with it though if you get my drift. Didn't experience the place propely but will give 5/10 fo what I saw ' hearrd from the landlord! Pubs need to be child friendly - especially when you're on holiday, I don't care what you say (especially when it's raining)!
