A quote from the Telegraph of 25th May 2010, review by Fiona Duncan:
"Did my stay at the Red Lion make me yearn for another Marston's Inn?
No, especially as I'm told that this one is their best (heaven help the rest of them). "
'nuff said

Shows the ignorance of the Red Lion and their attitude towards customers.
A white omelette is popular for it's low cholesterol.
You can bet if Peter Doraisamy the Stick ordered one they would bend over with their pants down for him.
If I ordered Kashrut menu (kosher) because of my faith do you think Martin and Steve would oblige?
Whites have no rights in the Red Lion (or is it the Pink Lion?)

How about marrowfat peas? Can you do these with from two faggots and spit roast?

Totally gutless politically correct management.
Martin, Steve and crew are going to lose all of the regulars that supported the new management both on these pages and through patronage.

Nope, I am not that Eamon or any other person other than Abi Ofrir Zwemmer.
This is an okay pub but hardly worth the stomach churning sychophancy of some. I like most of the pubs in Wendover, bar the Shoulder, since moving south.
Incidentally, I have had abusive messages from the myskolive/ladyliz etc bunch about my scouse background so readers judge for yourselves.

Known among some locals I've met as the 'Moudly Old Sh*tt*r'
I agree

Must have been entertaining for the other diners watching you eat three peoples' dinners and talking to yourself!

You won't be alone up the King & Queen with all of your aliases that's for sure.

...Aye! And this place was 'bluddy' well empty last Thursday and Friday nights. Even Jamie the bar man has left!
Last one out put out the lights.

This place is tiny inside with lounge no bigger than your living room and the bar is full of big sofas. The small room behind the lounge hardly adds to the seating. Food OK, beer gone down in quality recently.
Car park also tiny and taken up by London rail commuters' cars rather than patrons.

Myskolive, you are trying to tell us that several members of your presumed family are screaming, post after post over months, at a parking meter?
That is very disturbing.

In the nicest possible way this is 'Ye Olde Trademan's' Pub.
If you want brickie, sparks, decorator, plumber, computer pro in the village...just cast a net over the White Swan.
Probably sells more quality Guinness than anywhere outside Livepool on the mainland, no joke!
