The Grenadier, Belgravia

The old manager has gone (hooray!) and the new chap seems like a decent bloke. Atmospheric pub worth a visit and certainly different from the average Spirit pub around these days.

Marquis of Cornwallis, Bloomsbury

Lovely pub with really really good food and an excellent selection of beers and ciders. Always lots of variable ale on draught. Nice decor and very comfy sofas! Would strongly recommend.

The Rocket, Euston

Student hangout which is always busy in the evening making it hard to get a pint. Would avoid this one unless you're under 21 and want some cheap lager.

The Hereford Arms, South Kensington

This is a lovely pub on the Gloucester Road with a nice atmosphere and good quality beer, especially ales, of which there are normally six on draft. The staff are consistently friendly and able and make the place a welcoming one.

Friday nights at the Hereford are exceptionally busy but give the place a buzz and a 'pubby' factor it sometimes doesn't have.

Prices are high as they are everywhere in the area, the Princes don't party around the corner for nothing! But all in all an excellent pub with good atmosphere, good staff and most importantly good beer.
