This is a pretty place to have a drink, but the prices????? My wife nearly chocked on her potato skins when the bill arrived. Some annoying little bearded man kept trying to muscle in on our conversation as well. Nice landlady though!

This takes me back to old Macclesfield. Went with the wife last week. Lovely people. She was chatting to the owner terrence. She couldn't believe she was speaking to an old kray associate! I had a lovely chat with a sweet little man. I told him I supported Macclesfield and he said his team was west ham! Try the bombardier. It's the best I have had!

Went in here for the first time this weekend as I am new to the area. Rather a grand affair compared to my old city. Not sure about all the pictures of ed the duck though! My main surprise is this places ability to garrantee you a pull! Even some ugly little chap with bells palsy had a stunner on his arm. Shame I am married.

I moved down from Macclesfield two moths ago and now live in the area. I went here on Saturday after being told that it was re-opening. Me and the wife had steak which was fine. Sorry to hear about other peoples bad experiences on the same night. My main complaint is the same as all the local pubs I have now visited...the clientele. It was full of soft southern nancy boys...all mockney talk and electric fags! They give the misses the creeps!

This is a bloody Tory pub....I find it impossible to drink inside with that woman on the wall so me and the wife sit outside after work. It's quite fun watching the city boys scurrying home from the station like worker bees while the youngs special slips down. I hear they do poker nights here. Anyone tried this?
