The John Bunyan, Coleman Green
Kind of relieved to see someone else say food was ghastly! This place seems to have built up a reputation for ... errr ... something that wasn't there when we were taken there by friends for Sunday Lunch (about 2 years ago). Nice Hounds & Country location, but very under scratch. Sugggest Crooked Chimney or Elephant and Castle if in same area.

Nice, nice, a bit cliquey, just smile and sit by the fire with a knowing look!

Wooooah, those quizzes are leathal! My kennel is within walking distance and I don't go to TBOC very often. Maybe I should? It's always beens rather large and shabby. They DO run wicked quizzes and a take-out service though!

As much as I hate to see great buildings turned into pubs, this O'Neills is better than average. The landlord/manager goes out of his way to book quality local entertainment and employ the right staff to match. Lots of space (was referbed this week so that may have changed)! Also very tasty but sensible door men and ladies - you have been warned!

I don't get there that often but I LOVE this pub! Yes, the beer was pretty good, fabbo ciggy holes in the bar (which may be out of use now - but still super, friendly people and jst how a pub should be!

This used to be nice ... before it was a BAR ... - i.e. not a pub. Why oh why Anne Robinson do they keep having to encourage trash into our lovely cities - hate it - don't go there - better off getting some tinnies and sitting on the grass infront of the Abbey!

Oh dear, I've heard many stories of The BeeHive ... and I guess they live on in the student population there - which now is at the swotty end of student (and swotty rebel in the garden) and damn are the bar staff snappy!
