Always try to get a half in here and wait for the rush hour to subside (thats my excuse anyway!) STaff are varying, but ales always well kept. Just don't try to order food

The Lord Moon Of The Mall, Whitehall

I've started taking the 5 minute walk up the road to the one on Leicester Square, moon in water or something. Seems to have one of this pubs old managers and you can tell, speedy service and often (god forbid) with a smile. And if its quiet enough sometimes even get a chat and a bit of banter with the managers.

I can understand if breg1234 is upset with the service he has recieved at a different Wetherspoons pub - and even with this chain in general BUT your comments aren't even about the Moon Under Water?!?!?! It completely ruins what this site is about if you rant about other pubs in a chain when I've never had any problem with this one. Always served quickly, with a smile - and have NEVER had the kind of service you describe below.
Don't let the service you recieved from one pub tarnish your view of what the rest of them are like.... I'm not always a big fan of chains myself, but you have to take each one on its merits.
