The staff here don't appear to overly welcome drinkers, it is more of a foodie pub.
Having said that , We realised it was a Greene King pub having looked at the three real ales on offer and confirming with the young lady who went to check with a colleague. There are no signs making this one obvious that is owned by GK. I wonder why. Anyway. We immediately left.

Looks like it has had some painting done to the outside.
Inside could be nice but unfortunately I would assume they have not a cleaner.
Decidedly grubby in all directions.
if you like a little bit of underlying hostility chucked in with your expensive pint then you will have come to the right place.
The landlord Keith is not the most affable of characters. More of a 70's rocker want to be but without any talent.
No food was being served on the visit, although it was clearly advertised on the board outside. No real ale on offer despite three naked hand pumps.
All in all a surprise that this is a Fuller Smith & Turner pub.
I won't be back.

The Cross Keys, Pangbourne
After reading the previous reviews ,l would not frequent such a venue.
Monopolising Greene King pub so I wouldn't bother and avoid regardless.
The George hotel openly welcomes drinkers and has a range of well kept real ales.
