We had to check this place out after going to their other pub the Radnor Arms coleshill.
Once again very wellcoming with 2 open fires and full of memrobillia.
The Brewery is on show through a large glass window at the rear of the pub.
We sampled all of the 6 beers on tap with the 3rd of a pint trays. All in perfect
condition.Made very wellcome by the staff. They have some letting rooms to the
rear of the pub that look very nice so our next visit will include brekfast.

My wife and I had a meal here last Sunday. It was a cold day
And we hadn't booked. On arrival we were greated by a woodburning
stove and roaring open fire. The pub was a hive of activity and we
should have booked. The staff were very helpful and after a short
While had a table for 2 by the open fire.We both had a 3rd pint
Tray of 3 ales made from their own brewery.Anvil Ale.blacksmiths gold
& Hammer and Tongs. All of the beers were in perfect condition
And very tastey to.Are food arived just after our purchase of 2 more
Pints.I had the coarse chicken liver & pork terrine. Followed
By Forge beer batterd cod.My wife had the goats cheese and
red onion tartlet with lemon and thyme dressing
Followed by the pork & cider casserole with
saut potatoes. All of the food was obviously
home made and very enjoyable. We were to full for a desert
and would have sampled Sampled some more of their
Ales if it wasant for driving. The bill came
To 35.15 and worth every Penney. We will
Definitely be returning next time in a taxi.
