The Cock and Lion, Bond Street
I visited this pub recently and glanced upon the "Round Table" mentioned in the previous post. I was surprised to see sitting there "Swiss Toni" from The Fast Show talking to a man who looked rather disturbingly like a Badger.

I have frequented this Ale House on many, many occasions, mostly with my friend Guy, who, despite being from New Zealand, is a very nice chap.
It is a great pub, so the beer is a bit on the expensive side? after 5 or 6 pints, who cares????
The Beer itself is always 1st class and the food is very nice too, and 2 main courses for �6.99 it is an ideal place to take the missus for a romantic meal, or, if you are a fat pig, you can eat the two meals yourself.
The toilets are very clean, there are two urinals for number ones, and one cubile for number two's...
Not sure what is in the ladies as they wouldn't let me in there to have a look!!!
The upstairs seating area is very nice, kind of reminds me of my nans living room, except it has more tables and chairs & lots of people i don't know!!!!
There is also outside seating, Sky TV and big Chalkboards normally advertising when Newcastle United are next playing. John (The Landlord) for some reason supports them!!!!!
My only complaint I have with this pub, happens to involve John, and that is.....
When he is serving behind the bar and pouring a cask ale, he does it in a rather effeminate manner!!!
Otherwise, love the place

The Welsh chap the works behind the bar is definitely a homosexual.
