Ochre, St Pauls

Very nice bar. You have to look for it to find it so is not too packed. Is well worth seeking out though. Tasty menu and a great wine list. Nice cocktail list too!! Have been in at both the evenings and during the day and we all had a good time both times.

The Pillars of Hercules, Soho

Nice pub. I particularly liked the Sausage Menu with some really unusual types such as Wild Boar or Phesant. Nice selection of real ales, my drink was fine. Agree that some postings seem over-critical. Yes, It's small but it is always busy so must be doing something right.

The Salt House, Epsom

Smart looking, well maintained bar. Nice drinks list with some I had not seen before but enjoyed trying!! Staff friendly & fast. I liked it and so did my colleagues.

Sessions, Kettering

This pub has recently had a re-fit and looks great. Spanking new bar and furniture, nice staff behind the bar, good selection on tap. Worth another visit when I'm in the area for sure!!!

The Angel and Crown, Leicester Square

Visited on a saturday night, busy but not too jammed. Staff were well presented and welcoming. Bar was clean and tidy and had a nice selection on draught. Would definitely go again.

The Union, Marylebone

Have had a number of great evenings here. Staff always seem happy & efficient. Tables always clean and tidy. have only eaten once but food was tasty and well presented with some original specials on offer. Would recommend for sure!

The Essex Serpent, Covent Garden

I have been there for lunch on a number of occasions and have never had a bad meal there. Lovely bar downstairs and nice traditional restaurant upstairs. Lovely London pub ! x

Ember, Farringdon

Just had a re-fit and is very modern and funky. The lit bar top is especially attractive. Is now also non-smoking which is a plus for me. But does have an outside area available for it. Is open late at weekends and serves some fab cocktails. Danny on the bar is a good laugh. Nice Bar!

The Northumberland Arms, Fitzrovia

I recently popped into this pub after some heavy shopping. I found it to be nice and friendly. Good selection on Draught and GREAT wine list. Cheese and Bacon Burger is HUGE and very reasonably priced. Now open til one Thurs, Fri and Sat and Midnighht rest of the week. Will be adding it to my future city visits for sure!!!
