The Richard Oastler used to be the Central Methodist Church, quite a change of use! The upper area, or balcony, has hardly been touched. You can still see the organ pipes.

Too close to the old Rastrick Common School!!!!!!!! Good ale though & friendly regulars. Get in there when visiting Brighouse.

The Windsor Castle, Maida Vale
Not been in this pub since we moved from London to Cheshire.
Richard used to be the landlord and he was a bit of a piss head, but what the hell. Great little boozer.

This was my favourite pub when living in London. Backgammon with Tony most evenings were a pleasure. So was thumping "Dale of the Yard" the local police inspector. I know that Olive has moved on and wonder how the place is now. I moved to Cheshire in 2000 with wife, Charlotte & Thomas.

The Warrington Hotel, Maida Vale
Used to be a great place for an early doors drink, especially in the summer. Had to avoid grtting run over when attempting to take drinks onto the roundabout!

Not like the "Old" Lord Elgin. Friday nights were a storm. Nothing quite like tripping out onto Elgin Avenue with a belly full!!

Best lager in the village! And at �1.65 a pint!!! Doubles as a sleeping pill in sufficient quantity!

Sad end to what was a great pub! Used to frequent often, especially quiz nights when Dominic(?) used to persent the quiz! Now living in Cheshire but used to visit on return trips to London. Also the Truscott Arms seems to have suffered the same fate!

Used to be the best pub in the aera! Moved up to Cheshire now but still visit when in London! And yes Barbara's dogs weer great!

Ye Olde Parkgate Inn, Over Peover
Cracking little drinking hole, top marks for the Lager! Staff very friendly.
