All good points made... I used to be able to get in this place when I was 16 and that was a good few years ago. This place has been need of a major revamp for a long time. I think the staff are friendly and the music can be good but there is plenty of room for improvement. Get in the girls loos and stock up on toilet paper and get some locks as well. I will definately come for a night out when the improvements are made. ;)

This used to be my local when I lived in the Buckskin area a few years ago. Ok if you want a quiet drink and I believe the food isn't to bad either.

The New Inn, Basingstoke

I drink in the new inn on a regular basis and the crap i've read is unbelievable. The landlord and landlady are the most friendlist people you would ever meet. The are always smiling and will make sure you are having a good nite... i have never left the new inn thinking i have had a bad night i always leave smiling... i dont believe anything bad written bout this place... they have NO trouble and the door staff are always on the ball... You should come along and witness the fun and laughter for yourself I guarentee you wont leave dissapointed...
