Lord Hood, Greenwich

Be a real shame if they pull this place down, and just to make a pathway to get to the proposed new development behind. It's got great character, friendly atmosphere, good beer reasonably priced, attentive staff, and fine entertainment. Definitely worth a visit. If you're in the area pop in and sign their book. they're desperately trying to keep this pub going. I hope they succeed.

The Prince Albert, Greenwich

This is a great pub. A complete contrast to the Greenwich Union next door, in style at least. (which is also a great pub) This place has that olde worlde feel about it. A dartboard, that you can actually use. Pool tables tucked away in the back, out of sight of the bar area. Great range of beers. Decent non posey crowd, Cheerful, and efficient staff. Great for when you're fed up of all the trendy stuff in Greenwich, and just want a pint. I highly recommend this place.

The Greenwich Union, Greenwich

I shouldn't really like this pub, it doesn't serve bitter, it caters for families with kids, it's pretty pricey, and it's miles from where I live, but I love it, it's the best pub in London. The beer's great, the staff are fantastic, and the atmosphere is always friendly. Treat yourself, go there.
