Pleasantly surprised given the low rating of this establishment. Good range of well kept premium continental lagers, really nice fish cakes and salad, plenty of natural light from south facing windows. Staff friendly even when my friend asked for the table to be wiped down (I told him off for becoming a snob in his old age). Devoid of character but would go back for a light lunch if in the tower hill area.

Williams Wine and Ale House, Hoxton
Great place for watching sport with good screens and a lovely clear sound system. Beer was fine and staff very friendly. Possibly the best pub within a stones throw of Liverpool St station (not much competition). Would have scored an 8 had it not been for the filthy toilets. Bring a peg for your nose if you want to play pool (located outside gents). Really no excuse for having poor toilets given the relatively civilised clientele. If they sort it out I might become a regular.

Warwick Arms, Worthing
Friendly staff and ok beer. Enjoyed sitting outside on south facing tables. Might have been a seven apart from the chicken mayo baguette (very strange synthetic taste) "but for 3.95 what do you expect".
