The Round Table, Leicester Square

Nice little pub with a good range of real beer (Old Peculiar always goes down well). Often not too busy - nice place to meet for a quite night or on the way out.

The Edge of Town, Edgware

Recent refurb - think they have just had the carpets cleaned and surgically removed the nicotine from the walls. This pub is terrible - full of people you never see in daylight. Really bizarre

The Orange Tree, Totteridge

This used to be a great pub but was taken over by a foody chain and is now full of boring families. Great building and grounds though.

Shame about the pub. Walled beer garden is lovely and worth a visit.

The Rising Sun, Mill Hill

This is one of my favourite pubs and pretty local.

Great beer, food and staff.

Beer garden is a good place to be on a hot Sunday afternoon.

Open fires in the winter, wooden beams and outside toilets - what else could you ask for?
