The Watermans Arms, Wouldham

A nice friendly Shepherd Neame pub, the beers as SilkTork rightly says are well kept. Only visited during the evening but found the nice buzz of conversation going on with no TV and the music was at a very acceptable level. The pub has it's own car park, and a small and pleasant garden to the side. The seating area is alongside the main street of the village but this isn't a problem as the road is very quiet with little traffic - hard to believe but true. Well worth a visit if you can find Wouldham!

The Hole In The Wall, Waterloo

Used this pub for the first time a few days ago at the suggestion of a mate. Very spit and sawdust (my favourite sort) and totally unpretentious with a great atmosphere, suprising for a Central London pub, slap bang outside a mainline terminous. There was a nice range of ales which were all well kept and a smell but pleasant outdoor seating area. My mate and myself had a very enjoyable evening and didn't even think of moving on.

The Foresters Arms, Wouldham

This is a nice friendly pub with a great atmosphere and full of friendly local people. It's quite small, so doesn't have massive range of beers available but they are well kept.

For those who want to drink outside, there is a small, but nice well kept garden at the back, or benches at the front on the quiet main street of the village. The interior is clean and has a good old fashioned pub atmosphere.

If you can find Wouldham, which is quite an isolated village and well off the beaten track, The Foresters is well worth a visit.
