Friendly local pub with well kept Fullers beer. Don't, however, stand for too long at the main bar as the smell of cooking from the kitchen is a little overpowering. The door between the kitchen and bar was left permanently open. That said the bar staff are very helpful and make you feel welcome. 7/10

Visited the White Horse for the first time last night. Much nicer inside than it looks from the outside. Good garden with patio heaters if required. Very friendly and helpful barmaid and other staff were equally welcoming. Serve a good pint of London Pride. Would happily use it as my local if I lived a little closer.

The Sun set on the best pub in Epsom at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday 13th August.
The pub will be closed for at least 5 weeks.
Will Young's be able to replicate this haven in a sea of faceless chain pubs ? I doubt it.

Ye Olde Kings Head, Epsom
This is a pub worth visiting. Situated about 1/4 mile from Epsom town centre so no lager louts. Friendly, helpful bar staff. Good choice of real ales- Youngs, Fullers, Black Sheep. Food menu looks good too.
