yes best guinness by far in London. Very old school type pub but extremely friendly and character full irish locals who are always up for a chat and craic whch you don't get anywhere else in Holloway rd this pub is not for the posey type. its a great place for a decnt chat which we manged to do on paddys nite it was the only pleasant pub that nite that you didn't get squashed to death!

As i live nearby it would be handy sometimes to drop into a friendly local on a rainy afternoon but no not this pub it doesn't make u feel welcome..very unfriendly staff esp the moody faced land lady. Its good side is that they have a late licence and very clean.

Nambucca, Upper Holloway
i have to agree with anoymous with the furniture it is rather unpleasant and tacky and the decor is manky like some old peoples bingo hall!!! but other than that its a arty trendy goth place with good live bands and pleasant staff esp the friendly young irish guy but it doesn't have that relaxin pub comfort atmosphere if they changed the furniture it would make a massive difference!
