The Admiral Byng, Potters Bar

This pub is nice, cheap, good food (although I fear standards are slightly slipping at present). Friendly, Jovial bar staff (except that miserable chinese woman) and usually a nice friendly atmosphere.. does tend to fill up with chav morons on a friday or saturday night, but it's to be expected of pretty much everywhere these days..

The Bald Faced Stag, East Finchley

If you go to this pub in the afternoon or during the early evening in the week, it is very nice.. quiet, friendly staff.. good price. Food is excellent as well. No real complaints at all except it does attract a lot of dickheads at night and weekends - which is a shame of course..

The Hendon, Hendon

This pub is awful!!

Rude staff who could care less.. my pint wasn't as cold as it should be and was watered down.. the fly that landed in my pint should have warned me away but no, I was hungry.. ordered some scampi and chips. Made me very very ill.. over-priced to boot.. avoid!

The Moon Under Water, Colindale

I don't understand why this pub has such a high rating compared to some other wetherspoons I visit regularly that are FAR FAR better. This place is an absolute dump! Service slow and rude.. overall the pub is an a very bad state of repair.. mould growing on the glass skylight on the roof.. floors, bar, tables, chairs all very dirty and covered in fag burns. Toilets were absolutely rancid and of course in the only stall the door is hanging off it's hinges with no lock.. Wasn't brave enough to sample the food here..
