McArthurs, Ayr

This is a good pub for having a laugh in. Used to be my regular hangout with reasonable priced drinks and dj's who are hilarious! Atmosphere is good if you like being surrounded by younger people. Full of talent!!

Suburbia, Ayr

Well i was in Suburbia for the first time on Friday night and i think it is def the best pub in Ayr at the moment!! Im sure me and my friends will be spending a good few weekends having a drink in there. The bottom bar plays mostly new chart(ish) music and on a Saturday older songs. The bar upstairs which is called Mambo is for the dance tune lovers and the bar staff up there were very friendly!! ;) The other bar which is connected to mambo is called Dark and has a quieter more for chillin out kinda feel. But out of every pub in ayr, i def recommend it!!!

West Kirk, Ayr

The West Kirk is a place to go if you want a quiet drink. There is no music played in here and to be honest i think it's a dull atmosphere as it used to be a church. Also, if you have had a bit too much to drink its a major pain in the bum to have to walk up 3 flights of stairs to the powder room! Not the best pub in Ayr.

Dantes, Ayr

I have been to Dantes quite a few times. I feel that this pub does not really have a very good atmosphere and i also think that it's normal punters are very young and some not even og age to be there. Maybe this has all changed since the last time i had a drink in there but because i know what it used to be like, i dont think i will be venturing in there for a tipple anytime soon.
