made this the next port of call after walking out of the barley mow (no decaff coffee and stinky pub) up the road. wonderful italian fresh coffee - some of the best i have ever tasted. thanks guy and loic be back soon

was glad to get out of this on sunday. popped in for a coffee just after it opened only to be told it wasnt available - but wouldnt have stayed anyway because of the smell in the building. probably the best pub in tandridge tho!

sunday lunch on a budget - the perfect cheese and onion toasted sandwich with almost a full side salad and crisps as well. hit the spot and as promised mature cheddar not some cheap imitation. good luck in the new year to all at the dog and duck. another satisfied customer

really friendly chat from the manager and barman on sunday at about 5pm after the rush had died down good clean pub food seems to be simpler food offering these days but cant comment on quality yet as i didnt eat

The Skimmington Castle, Reigate Heath
popped in twice on sunday busy lunch trade and quieting down a bit at four. decent shiraz and small glasses of coke available - rare these days. all staff busy but friendly and a lovely welcome from emily one of the barmaids/waitress - have we met b4 I dont remember?

tuesday night almost every chair and table occupied mainly by drinkers but a few tables eating too.
great service and a bit of chat with the two barmaids, good beer and wine, reasonable prices compared to what I have been paying lately.
thanks for the lovely warm temperature and buzz in the atmosphere.
this is how i remember it from 20 years ago when I used to work here.

The Greyhound, Charlwood
popped in here for halfway refreshments during a country walk. lovely food, good value for money, perfectly cooked steak and reasonable drinks too. overall v happy with this experience and will return as seems to be fairly child friendly
