Certainly nothing special here, but does the job given a limited selection in Epsom town centre. Beer is fine and not too badly priced, including ales. The tone has certainly improved since the got rid of the football and the chavs, although that has even further limited the options for pub sport watching in Epsom. Staff are generally very friendly. Decent area out the back, although not exactly picturesque, backing onto a car park.
Food is pretty standard pub fare, but good selection, well priced and always arrives quickly, so can't moan on that front.

Good pub for a decent pint. Food is pretty good but service tends to be slow - I think they have a very small kitchen and can't cope with more than 2 meals at a time. If you're in a group of more than 2 expect to be served at very different times!
Otherwise service seems friendly, clean and pleasant dcor and spacious beer garden. Go for a beer in the summer, but maybe not for a meal for 10!

Always find this place clean and friendly with a good beer selection which is invariably in good condition. Roof terrace is a great feature, particularly if its warm and not too busy, especially now they have beer on tap up there.
About the only decent place in Wimbledon centre to watch sport now the Hand & Racquet next door has stopped, although can get very busy for big matches and not all seating is well positioned for a view of the screens. Beer pricey too, but then you pay for a decent venue!

The Crooked Billet, Wimbledon Common
Certainly not a cheap pub, but quality of food and ale is high, and it keeps the clientle respectable.
Always had friendly managers/staff here so definitely worth going if you're in the area. However its not the most convenient location just to drop in (hence most customers are the locals).
Also a nice green outside which can be used in the summer!

The Fez Bar, Putney
Dismal. Every negative comment on here has it about right including the behavior of the bouncers - which wouldn't be all bad if it didnt also reflect the behavior of
the punters.
